10.6.3 Drain hose to sink connection
The junct ion must lie above t he siphon.
A spigot connect ion is usually closed by a pad (A).
That must be removed to prevent any disfunc-
t ion (Fig. 10- 9).
Secure t he drain hose wit h a clamp.
CAUTION!
The drain hose should not be submerged in water and should be securely xed and
leak- free. If t he drain hose is placed on t he ground or if t he pipe is at a height of less
t han 80 cm, t he washing machine will cont inuously drain while being lled (self- si-
phoning).
Drain hose is not to be extended. If necessary cont act after sales service.
10.7 Fresh water connection
Make sure t hat t he gasket s are inserted.

Connect t he water inlet hose wit h t he angled
end to t he appliance (Fig. 10- 10). Tighten t he
screw joint by hand.

The ot her end connect to a water t ap wit h a
3/ 4" t hread (Fig. 10- 11).
Note: Aqua-stop system:
Some models are equipped wit h an aqua- stop inlet hose (B).The aqua- stop system
protect s against water damage by automat ically cutt ing t he fresh water supply in case
of a leaking hose. This is indicated by a red marker (C). The hose must be replaced.

Following connect ions are possible:
10.6.1 Drain hose to sink
Hang t he drain hose wit h t he U- support over t he
edge of a sink wit h adequate size (Fig. 10- 7).

10.6.2 Drain hose to waste water connection
The internal diameter of t he st and pipe wit h
vent- hole must be minimum 40 mm.
Put t he drain hose for approx. 80 mm in t he
wastewater pipe.
