Procedure 5. Replacing Power Node/30 Parts (Continued)
CAUTION: Do not use metal tools. Install lead-acid batteries only.
A) Complete Steps 5A through 5D.
B) Remove (old) batteries from enclosure.
C) Place new batteries in the enclosure. If the batteries have been in use
for several months, it is recommended that all four batteries be replaced
at the same time with new fully charged batteries; never mix new
batteries with old batteries.
D) Complete Steps 5F through 5H.
A) Complete Step 4B.
B) Complete Step 5C.
C) Remove all wires connected to the power supply output terminal block.
D) Loosen and remove the four #6–32 screws securing the power supply
mounting plate.
E) Remove the power supply from the enclosure.
F) Install the replacement power supply by reversing the process in Steps
7E through 7A.
Remove or install door ground cable with a 7/16" hex nut driver.
