Introduction
• The system should only be installed by qualified
personnel.
• The system may only be used in the configuration
specified by the manufacturer. Any changes to the
system can lead to failure and must be avoided at all
costs.
• Before switching on the system, make sure that the
rated supply voltage matches the specifications on
the device.
• Country-specific regulations for the operation of GPS
repeaters must be observed. For more information,
contact your national Telecommunications Authority.
In Germany, the use of the GPS repeater requires a
radio license or frequency assignment of the Fed.

3. Installation

3.1 Operation / Composition

The GNSS repeater AS47-G CS consists of a receiving antenna which hast to be mounted outside the building
with a clear view of the sky, a coaxial cable with a specially tuned length and a transmitting unit for signal
transmission in the building. The transmitter unit is powered by a 230V power supply.

• Discharges via RF connectors may damage the
device. It is therefore important to observe the ESD
regulations when installing the HF connections.
• The environmental conditions for proper operation
must be observed.
• The GNSS repeater kit may not be used in protected
zones within 2 km of airports. For information on sui-
table GNSS repeater kits for operation in protection
zones, please contact your VDO contractor.
