To prevent damage to the appliance,
water with a hardness of more than 7
°dH must be softened.
Overview of the water hardness settings
Here you will find an overview of the adjustable water hardness values.
You can inquire or determine the water hardness from your local water company
with a water hardness tester.

Softening salt
You can soften the water with
softening salt.
Filling softening salt
If the Refill softener salt indicator
lights up, top up the softener salt in
the softener salt reservoir
immediately before the start of the
programme. The required amount of
softening salt depends on the water
hardness. The higher the water
hardness, the greater the amount of
softening salt required.
