It is for this slot connecting a SFP+ module or Direct Attach cable.
"NE3108-005 Optical Module for 10GBASE SR" (option) is supported as Optical interface.
Since the slot cover for protection against dust is attached, please remove and use it.
Secure the removed slot cover carefully.
Do not remove a slot cover, when you do not use this slot.
Important
- Bracket
Bracket to fix this product to the extended slot of Computer.
- PCI-Express® Connector
This product can be attached to the slot x8 lane or higher (PCI-Express® Gen.2).
Refer to User's Guide of the Server.
- Fan
Cooling fan.
- MAC Address
The MAC Address of "port 0" is displayed by the Label (1).
The MAC Address of "port 1" is displayed by the Label (3).
