Text Entry

Some features let you enter text.
Press Menu in a text entry screen and scroll down to select
Entry Mode:
Entry Mode
Primary
Secondary
Numeric
Symbol
To set your Primary and Secondary text entry modes, press
Menu> Entry Setup in a text entry screen and select Primary
Setup or Secondary Setup.
iTAP® Mode
Press Menu > Entry Mode in a text entry screen to switch to
Primary of Secondary mode. If you don't see
> Entry Setup to set iTAP mode as your primary or secondary
text entry mode.
iTAP mode lets you enter words using a single key press per
letter. The iTAP software combines your key presses into
common words, and predicts each word as you enter it.

Description
The Primary text entry mode can be set to iTAP®
or Tap in any supported language.
The Secondary text entry mode can be set to
iTAP® or Tap in any supported language, or set to
Primary if you don't want a Secondary entry
mode.
Enter numbers only.
Enter symbols only.
