Bevel Cuts

What's a Bevel Cut?
A "bevel cut" is a cross-cut made with the blade
perpendicular to the fence (Fig. 49, 12) and with
the table (22) set at 0° miter. The blade can be
tilted to any angle within the saw's range: 47°
left and 47° right from the vertical.
The bevel scale is sized and positioned for easy
reading (Fig. 50, 10 and Fig. 51). The bevel lock
knob (Fig. 52, 34) is to lock and unlock the vari-
ous settings.

Saw Operations
Rotating bevel stop indicators (Fig. 50 and Fig.
52, 33) allow you to set the most common bevel
stops: 33.9°, 45° and 47° Left and Right (Fig.
51). The 33.9° bevel stop is for cutting 38°
"spring angle" crown molding flat on the table.
