Test procedure/Cause
Communication fault between central
controller and outdoor unit
Fault in the hardware/software of the
central controller
Fault in the network or required with the
Internet connection or new configuration in
the E-Mail client.
Software update via USB interface has
failed.
Software update via Internet failed.
USB interface is not working properly.
Connection to AC EXP expansion card
faulty
No power supply to central controller for
prolonged period
NTP server not available. NTP server
blocked by Firewall.
Indoor unit no longer available in the XYE
network. No power for a prolonged period
has led to communication faults in the VRF
system.
Action
▶ Check XYE wiring between the central
controller and outdoor unit.
▶ Repeat system scan (Notice: this
deletes all user-specific settings).
▶ Restart central controller.
▶ Contact service and replace central
controller if required.
▶ Check E-Mail client setting.
▶ Check Internet connection.
▶ Check network wiring (LAN1).
▶ Restart central controller.
▶ Contact service.
▶ Repeat software update.
▶ Remove and reinsert USB medium.
▶ Restart central controller.
▶ Update software via Internet.
▶ Contact service.
▶ Check Internet connection.
▶ Check network wiring (LAN1).
▶ Check software update setting.
▶ Restart central controller.
▶ Update software via USB interface.
▶ Contact service.
▶ Restart central controller.
▶ Contact service and replace central

manually.
▶ Restart the VRF system ( Technical

outdoor units).
▶ Check the system structure and add or
delete units, if necessary.
▶ Repeat system scan (Notice: this
deletes all user-specific settings).
