Features of your vehicle
僅 When the headlamps of an oncom-
ing vehicle or a vehicle in front is
not detected due to poor outside
visibility (smog, smoke, dust, fog,
heavy rain, snow, etc.)
僅 When the windscreen visibility is
poor
WARNING
僅 The function may not work around 15
seconds after starting the vehicle or
the initialization or rebooting of the
front view camera.
僅 Do not attempt to disassemble the
front view camera without the assis-
tance of an authorised Kia dealer/ser-
vice partner technician.
僅 If the front view camera is removed
for any reason, the function may need
to be re-calibrated. We recommend
that the function be inspected by an
authorised Kia dealer/service partner.
僅 If the windscreen of your vehicle is
replaced, most likely the front view
camera will need to be re-calibrated. If
this occurs, have your vehicle
inspected and have the function re-
calibrated by an authorised Kia
dealer/service partner.
僅 Be careful that water doesn't get into
related parts of High Beam Assist and
do not remove or damage related
parts the function.
僅 Do not place objects on the crash pad
that reflect light such as mirrors, white
paper, etc. The function may malfunc-
tion if sunlight is reflected.
僅 At times, High Beam Assist may not
work properly. The function is for your
convenience only. It is the responsibil-
ity of the driver for safe driving prac-
tices and always check the road
conditions for your safety.
僅 When the function does not operate
normally, change the lamp position
manually between the high beam and
low beam.

To adjust the headlight beam level
according to the number of the passen-
gers and loading weight in the luggage
area, turn the beam levelling switch.
The higher the number of the switch
position, the lower the headlight beam
level. Always keep the headlight beam at
the proper levelling position, or head-
lights may dazzle other road users.
Listed below are the examples of proper
switch settings. For loading conditions
other than those listed below, adjust the
switch position so that the beam level
may be the nearest as the condition
obtained according to the list.
