ADVANCED CALIBRATION

For Professional Installers Only - Read Warnings & Precautions First!
Overview
The features described in this guide allow video calibration professionals to customize
various aspects of the video display for optimal video performance. With the various types
of video peripherals in existence today, such as DVDs, Satellite tuners, VCRs, and
Computers, it is nearly impossible for manufacturers to optimize the performance of each
plasma display to each individual device. In addition, the physical environment such as
room lighting and viewing habits varies greatly from location to location. Due to these
variances, this plasma display is equipped with advanced video calibration function so that
video calibration professionals can optimize the performance of this plasma display for
your specific application and setting.
Features
Separate R, G, and B Gain and Bias controls for each video input
Separate Brightness and Contrast controls for each video input
Separate Color, Tint, and Sharpness Controls for each video input
Discrete memory bank for each video input (a total of 7 memory banks for 7 video
inputs including TV tuner option)
Easily recall and restore original calibrated settings
No specialized equipment necessary - advanced settings accessible via remote
control
"Last video memory" recalls previous video settings used for each video input upon
powering on/off
Warnings & Precautions
The purpose of this guide is to help video calibration
professionals to obtain optimal video performance
from this plasma display. Exercise extreme caution;
please do not attempt to engage the advanced calibra-
tion settings described in this guide without the help
of a properly trained video calibration professional.
Specialized equipment such as video pattern genera-
tors and colorimeters are needed to perform advanced
calibration settings. To prevent possible permanent
