1.2 Notes on possible personal injury

Crush hazard arising from moving parts on the valve and actuator.
The control valves contain moving parts (actuator and plug stem), which can injure hands
or fingers if inserted into the valve.
Î Do not touch any moving valve parts while the control valve is in operation.
Î While performing any mounting or installation on the valve or actuator, disconnect
and lock the pneumatic air supply as well as the control signal.

1.3 Notes on possible property damage

An incorrect electrical power supply will damage the limit switch.
The Type 4747 Limit Switch is designed to operate under exactly defined electrical con-
ditions.
Î Only connect the limit switch to a suitable power supply after mounting is complet-
ed.
Risk of malfunction due to incorrect mounting parts/accessories or incorrect assign-
ment of lever and pin position.
Î Only use mounting parts/accessories listed in these mounting and operating instruc-
tions to mount the limit switch.
Î Observe the type of attachment.
Î Observe the assignment between lever and pin position.
