Transportation & Storage
Before storing fully retract the ram. Place the tool in the
carrying case and store in a cool, dry place. Keep tool,
instructions, and accessories with the tool in the carry
case. Carrying strap is for carrying only, not to be used
to hang tool.
Remove battery before storing for more than 6 months.
Store battery with tool in carrying case or on charging
rack.

Maintenance

• Do not perform any maintenance other than
as described in this manual. Personal injury or
damage to the tool may result.
• Wear eye protection when operating or servicing
this tool.
• Remove battery before changing dies, adapters,
or jaws.
• Do not modify this tool. Modifying the tool in any
manner may result in personal injury and damage to
the tool.
• Do not use hands to check for oil leaks. Oil under
pressure easily punctures skin. If injured, seek
medical attention immediately. Failure to observe
this warning could result in serious injury, gangrene,
or death.
Remove battery before cleaning. Use a damp cloth and
mild detergent to clean the housing. Allow the housing to
dry fully before using.
If necessary, recharge the batteries. Refer to the instruc-
tions supplied with the battery charger.
Do not attempt to open the tool. It contains no user-
serviceable parts.

Service

• Tool service must be performed only by qualified
repair personnel. Service or maintenance
performed by unqualified personnel could result in
a risk of injury.
When servicing a tool, use only identical
replacement parts. Use of unauthorized parts or
failure to follow maintenance instructions may create
a risk of electric shock or injury.
At either 3 years or 10,000 cycles, schedule a factory
service maintenance. Factory service includes general
inspections, replacement of tool's di-electric hydraulic oil
and testing of tool by trained technicians.
When the Factory Service Date is approaching or arrived,
contact Greenlee Customer Service. Expedited shipping
is available.

Disposal

Parts of these tools contain valuable materials and
can be recycled. There are companies that specialize
in recycling that may be found locally. Dispose of
the components in compliance with all applicable
regulations. Contact your local waste management
authority for more information
For EU Countries: Do not dispose of
electrical equipment with household waste!
According to the European Guideline
2012/19/EU for Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment and its implementation
into national legislation, electrical
equipment that is no longer usable must be
collected separately and disposed of in an
environmentally correct manner.
