Finishing Touches
After washing your motorcycle, consider using
a commercially-available spray cleaner/polish
or quality liquid or paste wax to finish the job.
Use only a non-abrasive polish or wax made
specifically for motorcycles or automobiles.
Apply the polish or wax according to the
instructions on the container.
Clean the Seat
Due to the top coat design, the seat surface
tends to catch and trap dirt or dust in its texture.
Using plenty of water, clean the seat with a
sponge and mild detergent.
After washing, dry with a soft, clean cloth.

Clean the Mat Painted Surface
Using plenty of water, clean the mat painted
surface with a soft cloth or sponge. Dry with a
soft, clean cloth.
Use neutral detergent to clean mat painted
surface.
Do not use waxes containing compounds.
Exhaust Pipe and Muffler Maintenance
When the exhaust pipe and muffler are painted,
do not use a commercially available abrasive
kitchen cleaning compound. Use a neutral
detergent to clean the painted surface on the
exhaust pipe and muffler. If you are not sure if
your exhaust pipe and muffler are painted,
contact your dealer.
