Hardware Installation
Before installing, design your surveillance system carefully and test camera
location and coverage by temporarily connecting the camera to the NVR.
Also decide whether to run the cables through the wall/ceiling (drilling
required) or along the wall/ceiling (through the cable notch on the base).
Caution: Adequate grounding must be provided to the unit and the PoE
injector, in compliance with your local electrical code or regulations.
Note: Suggest to avoid exposure to direct sunlight in outdoor installation
for better image quality and longer service life.
To install the camera
1.
Remove the dome cover. Use caution with the electronic parts.
2.
Stick the drilling template to the desired position and drill the
mounting holes.
3.
Assemble the waterproof connector onto the Ethernet cable.
4.
Attach the camera to the wall or ceiling.
5.
Adjust the 3-axis mechanism horizontally, vertically, and circularly to
your desired angle.
6.
Install the dome cover.
