    Hardware Installation • Before installing surveillance cameras, design your system carefully and test the location and coverage of each camera by temporarily connecting the camera to the FortiRecorder NVR. Additionally, decide whether to run the cables through the wall/ceiling (drilling required) or along the wall/ceiling through the cable notch on the base.
