RxD, TxD Active
This setting controls the receiving and transmitting speed of the IR peripheral in
use. Setting options: [Hi,Hi], [Hi,Lo], [Lo,Hi], [Lo,Lo].
IR Transmission Delay
This setting determines whether the IR transmission rate will be delayed while
converting to receiving mode. Setting options: [Disabled], [Enabled].
UR2 Duplex Mode
In an infrared port mode, this field appears. Full-duplex mode permits simulta-
neous two-direction transmission. Half-duplex mode permits transmission in
one direction only at a time. Select the value required by the IR device con-
nected to the IR port. Setting options: [Full], [Half].
Use IR Pins
Consult your IR peripheral documentation to select the correct setting of the
TxD and RxD signals.
Onboard Parallel Port
This specifies the I/O port address and IRQ of the onboard parallel port. Setting
options: [378/IRQ7], [278/IRQ5], [3BC/IRQ7], [Disabled].
Parallel Port Mode
This item selects the operating mode for the parallel port: [Normal], [SPP], [EPP],
[ECP], or [ECP+EPP].

[ECP]
Extended Capability Port
[ECP + EPP]
Extended Capability Port + Enhanced Parallel Port
[Normal]
Standard Parallel Port + Bi-Directional Mode.
EPP Mode Select
This item selects the EPP mode. Setting options: [EPP1.9], [EPP1.7].
ECP Mode Use DMA
The ECP mode has to use the DMA channel, so choose the onboard parallel port
with the ECP feature. After selecting it, the following message will appear: "ECP
Mode Use DMA." At this time, the user can choose between DMA channel [3] or
[1].
PWRON After PWR-fail
This item specifies whether your system will reboot after a power failure or
interrupt occurs. Available settings are:
[Off]
Leaves the computer in the power off state.
[On]
Leaves the computer in the power on state.
[Former-sts]
Restores the system to the status before power failure
or interrupt occurred.
