INTRODUCTION
X-range: The basis of X-Range is a frequency modulated (FM) transmission combined
with advanced signal processing to extract the maximum possible range while maintaining
ultra-high resolution. A further benefit of FM is increased immunity to external noise, as
often encountered in marine environments, resulting in cleaner data.
Some features may require operator intervention and as such may have limited
functionality when in use in AUVs.
