6 Preinstallation
This section describes the bracket preparation required
before installing the device onto the AC unit.
6 .1 Understanding the Bracket(s) for
the AC Unit
This section describes the bracket configurations based
on the AC unit.
The mounting bracket and z-brackets
should already be assembled and attached

to the device. Go to "Installation" on
page 11.

6 .2 Attaching the Hose Clamp

This section describes how to attach the hose clamp to
the mounting bracket for all AC units , if applicable.
1. Place the device on its side with the supply side to
the right and the mounting bracket towards you.
I The two LEDs visible on the outside cover of
the device are located on the supply side of the
device.

2. Insert the hose clamp end into the slot on the supply
side of the mounting bracket.
3. Push the hose clamp through to the other side of the
mounting bracket.
If it is difficult to push the hose clamp through

the mounting bracket, loosen the nuts on the
bracket screws several turns.
4. Push the hose clamp end through the slot on the
compressor side of the mounting bracket.
