Reduce the basic dosage if using a
very concentrated detergent.
If large amounts of foam are
repeatedly created during washing,
please check your basic dosage and
dosage strength settings.
Certain types of liquid detergent can
also create excessive amounts of
foam. If your basic dosage and
dosage strength settings are correct,
we advise you to use a different
detergent.

Dispenser content for
i-DOS iIw
Instead of fabric softener, a second
liquid detergent can be used in the
i-DOS iIw dispenser.
Notes
When switching the i-DOS iIw
dispenser content from
fabric softener to detergent, the
basic dosage for detergent is set to
factory settings for this dispenser
and the dosage for this detergent is
set to off for all programmes in
which intelligent dosing can be used.
Then, using the i-DOS iIw button on
the display panel, select the
detergent dosage
(low, medium or high). ~ Page 12
The i-DOS w dispenser is
automatically deactivated if
detergent dosing is activated for the
i-DOS iIw dispenser.
The settings for this programme are
saved until they are changed.
Intelligent dosing system
When switching the i-DOS iIw
dispenser content to fabric softener,
the basic dosage is set to factory
settings and the dosage is set to
"normal" for all programmes in which
intelligent dosing can be used.
Switching the dispenser content
requires additional confirmation via
the display panel.

Manual dosage

In addition to intelligent dosing, you can
manually add cleaning aids (e.g.
softener, bleach or stain remover) to
compartment v u, if necessary.
For programmes without intelligent
dosing, or as desired (in which case,
set intelligent dosing to ö (off)),
detergent can be added manually to
compartment v u.

Eye/skin irritation!
Detergent and care products may spray
out if the detergent drawer is opened
while the appliance is in operation.
Open the drawer carefully.
Rinse eyes or skin thoroughly if they
come into contact with detergent/care
products.
If swallowed accidentally, seek medical
advice.
Caution!
Damage to the appliance
Cleaning agents and agents for
pretreating laundry (e.g. stain removers,
prewash sprays, etc.) may cause
damage if they come into contact with
the surfaces of the washing machine.
Do not allow these agents to come into
contact with the surfaces of the washing
machine. If necessary, immediately wipe
away spray residue and other residues/
droplets with a damp cloth.
