Alarm Set
This submenu allows you to set the Alarm (based on Sensor or Motion input). When a Sensor
event or Motion is detected, an Alarm EVENT will be triggered and an indicator will be displayed
on the top left side of the monitor screen (see the QUAD screen diagram on the bottom of page
29).
1. DURATION - Sets the length of time an ALARM
message is displayed on the monitor. Navigate to
this option using the
button to change the option to one of the following
settings: 5 SEC / 10 SEC / 15 SEC / 20 SEC / 25
SEC / 30 SEC or CONT (Continuous Alarm).
2. CHANNEL1 - CHANNEL4 - Sets the Channel to
ON/OFF for Alarm detection. Navigate to this
option using the
button to change the option.
When an ALARM is detected, an indicator appears
at the top LEFT corner of the monitor screen. For
example:
ALARM [ 1UU- ]
This indicates that Channel 1 is in ALARM, and the
U displayed on Channels 2 and 3 indicate that these
channels are set to NO (no ALARM). The - on
channel 4 means that this channel is not currently in
ALARM mode.
