Graphing a Polar Equation Using a Graphing Utility
Use a graphing utility to graph the polar equation
We must change the MODE of the calculator to POLAR mode.
This is done by pressing MODE and using the arrows to put the
cursor on POL and pressing ENTER as shown:
Now press the Y = button and enter the expression in
NOTE: Because the calculator is in POLAR mode, the θ shown
