TROUBLESHOOTING

Before asking for repairs, conduct your own inspection first. If you find a problem that is not explained in the manual,
do not attempt to dismantle the machine. Instead, ask Dolmar/Makita Authorized Service Centers, always using
Dolmar/Makita replacement parts for repairs.
State of abnormality
Engine does not start.
Engine stops soon after starting.
Engine speed does not increase.
Cutting tool does not rotate.
Stop engine immediately.
Main unit vibrates abnormally.

Remedy
Push 7 to 10 times.
Pull the starter rope firmly.
Add fuel.
Unclog and clean the fuel filter.
Straighten fuel tube.
Replace with new fuel.
Remove the spark plug and dry the electrode.
Attach the plug cap securely.
Clean the spark plug.
Adjust the clearance.
Replace with a new one.
