The U-BR1TE port should be configured to operate in the
LULT mode if being operated in the Adjacent to Customer
or Tandem Office Source positions (see Figure 3-6 on page
3-6). The MODE should be set to LUNT if the port is oper-
ated in the Adjacent to Switch or Tandem Office Sink po-
sitions.
Periodic wake-up tones should be turned on when the
port is operated in the Tandem Office Sink configuration
or when it is adjacent to a device that requires wake-up
tones.
