The uninstall program can be found on the CD-ROM that is included with this product. Start Windows. Insert the printer driver installer CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive on your computer.

    Section 4 Basic Printing Procedure The following basic printing procedure is explained as though you are using the WordPad application under a Windows 95 environment. Since the actual printing procedure will differ depending upon your operating system and the application you use, refer to the Instruction Manual for the system and application in use, or to the corresponding Help.

    Section 5 Making Printing Settings Operation under Windows 95/98/Me The following explains operation procedures as though you are using a Windows 95 environment. If you are using Windows 98 or Windows Me, use this procedure simply as reference. Opening the [Properties] dialog box There are two methods of opening the [Properties] dialog box: from the [Printers] folder or from within the application in use.

    Section 5 Using the Scanner File Utility What is the Scanner File Utility? The Scanner File Utility is responsible for sending scanned image data directly to your computer and saving it in a designated folder. Once the Scanner File Utility is installed in your computer, it will start up automatically each time you boot up the computer, an icon will appear on the Task Bar to indicate that it is running and the utility will remain in a waiting state for data to be sent from the copier-scanner.

    5-1-2 Operation Flow The following illustrates the flow of operation when using the Scanner File Utility to save scanned data to a destination folder on your computer. Use your Internet Web browser to register the information about the destination computer. Scan the document.

    Main Dialog Box Once installed in your computer, the Scanner File Utility will start up automatically each time you boot up the computer. However, any time you want to quit the utility program, whenever you want to designate the folder into which data – received from the copier-scanner – will be saved, as well as when you want to set a security password for that folder, you will need to access the Main dialog box.
