You first have to be sure that your IDE device supports this MODE. Otherwise, the hard disk will not be
able to operate normally.
IDE Prefetch Mode:
Two options are available: Disabled or Enabled. The default setting is Enabled. The onboard IDE drive
interfaces supports IDE prefetching for faster drive accesses. If you install a primary and/or secondary
add-in IDE interface, set this field to Disabled if the interface does not support prefetching.
Init Display First:
Two options are available: PCI Slot or AGP. The default setting is PCI Slot. When you install more than
one display card, you can choose either a PCI display card (PCI Slot) or an AGP display card to display
the boot-up screen. If you have only installed one display card, the BIOS will detect which slot (AGP or
PCI) you installed it, and everything will be taken care of by the BIOS.
OnChip USB:
Two options are available: Disabled ( Enabled. The default setting is Enabled. This should be enabled if
your system has a USB device installed on the system board and you wish to use it. If you add a higher
performance controller, you will need to disable this feature. If you choose disable this item, the "USB
Keyboard Support" and "USB Mouse Support" items will disappear in Integrated Peripherals menu.
" USB Keyboard Support:
Two options are available: OS ( BIOS. The default setting is OS. If your operating system supports a
USB keyboard, please set it to OS. Only in some situations, such as in a pure DOS environment that
does not support a USB keyboard, should you set it to BIOS.
" USB Mouse Support:
Two options are available: OS ( BIOS. The default setting is OS. If your operating system supports a
USB mouse, please set it to OS. Only in some situations, such as in a pure DOS environment that does
not support a USB mouse, should you set it to BIOS.
The NVIDIA chipset had built-in USB controller, it provide two USB channels (USB A & USB B
channels). NV7-133R had built-in USB port connectors on backside of motherboard, they are used
USB A channel, and USB1 header is use USB B channel. For functional issue, please connect the
USB keyboard or USB mouse to USB A channel connectors and do not connect them to USB1
header channel connectors.
AC97 Audio:
Two options are available: Disabled ( Enabled. The default setting is Enabled. This item can let you
enable or disable the onboard AC97 CODEC functions.
AC97 APU:
Two options are available: Disabled ( Enabled. The default setting is Enabled. This item can let you
enable or disable the APU (Audio Processor Unit) function of south bridge.
