INTERIOR LAMPS

The front dome lamp is located
overhead between the driver and
passenger seats.
When the dome lamp control switch is
moved to the ON position, the dome
lamp will stay on at all times. With the
dome lamp control in the door position,
the dome lamp will illuminate whenever
any door is opened. If any door has been
opened from the outside, the lamp will
remain on for 15 seconds after the door
is shut.
When the dome lamp control switch is
moved to the OFF position, the light will
not come on. The map lamp controls are
located on the dome lamp.
Press the controls on either side of each
map lamp to activate the lamps.
Lighting

CHANGING A BULB

Switch the lights and the ignition
off.
Let the bulb cool down before
removing it.
If in any doubt about the
instructions below, take your
vehicle to an Authorised Ford Dealer to
change these bulbs.
Before changing the bulbs
yourself, ensure that the vehicle
is parked away from traffic on even
ground, with the hand brake fully
engaged and the keys removed from
the ignition.
Do not touch the glass of the bulb.
Only fit bulbs of the correct
specification. See Bulb
specification chart (page 44).
Note: The following instructions
describe how to remove the bulbs. Fit
replacements in the reverse order unless
otherwise stated.
Headlamp main and dipped
beam
Handle a halogen headlamp
bulb carefully and keep out of
children's reach. Grasp the bulb only
by its metal base and do not touch
the glass. The oil from your hand could
cause the bulb to break the next time
the headlamps are operated.
