Solutions for Small Problems

Before calling an authorized service technician or your distributor, try the solu-
tions, referring to the table below:
PROBLEM
Refrigerator
will not
operate
Abnormal
noises
Insuffi cient
cooling
External
condensation
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Lack of power.
Very low/high voltage
(this can be noticed by
the luminous oscillations
of the house light
bulbs).
Broken outlet.
Disconnected plug.
Power cord damaged.
Installation in an
unsuitable location.
Inadequate leveling of
the product.
Air circulation is blocked.
Doors being opened
very often.
Temperature control in
the wrong position.
High moisture of the
room air (normal in
certain climates and
times of the year).
Poor adhesion of the
weather seal around the
door.
SOLUTION
Check the residence
circuit breaker. Also
check if the plug is
connected into the
outlet.
Install an automatic
voltage stabilizer with a
minimum power of 1000
Watts.
Plug another appliance
into that outlet to verify
and replace the outlet if
necessary.
Connect the appliance.
Contact authorized
service or consult the
distributor.

Adjust the leveling feet.
Do not obstruct air
outlets.

Ask people to open doors
only when necessary.
Adjust it, according to

Install your refrigerator in
a ventilated area.
Adjust the leveling feet
so that they keep the
refrigerator slightly tilted
back.
