Ground connection:
The connection of the ground cable is necessary
with voltages, either 110 V - 120 V or 220 V -
240 V, and for all electrical electronic appliances.
It is forbidden to connect the ground cable to the
neutral conductor of the network, to electrical
pipes, to gas pipes, to water pipes, and even to
taps. For ground connection, follow grounding
rules and call an electrician. Incorrect connection of the ground cable may result
in accidents with fi re, electric shock, or other personal injury.
Check if the mains voltage at the place of installation is the same as the indi-
cated on the label affi xed next to the plug. The refrigerator should be plugged
into a working outlet.
IMPORTANT:
Never connect your refrigerator through a double or triple extension cable
to another appliance in the same outlet. This type of connection may cau-
se overloading of the electrical circuit, impairing the performance of your
refrigerator and resulting in fi re accidents. Use a dedicated outlet.
If you live in a region where there are voltage fl uctu-
ations, do not connect your refrigerator directly to
the outlet.
Install an automatic voltage stabilizer with a mini-
mum power of 1000 W between the refrigerator
and the outlet.
Make sure that the stabilizer withstands the voltage
variations in your region.
Do not use electrical appliances within the food storage compartments of
the appliance unless they are the type recommended by the manufacturer.
Your refrigerator is provided with a plug with a ground conductor for your
safety. Do not remove it by replacing the plug or using adapters. Your hou-
se electrical installation must be provided with a ground conductor. If not
provided, consult a specialist for proper installation.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a power cable or
special assembly provided by the manufacturer or its authorized
technician.
Once the refrigerator is connected, avoid the power cable get in contact
with hot components, such as the motor compressor or other elements
that generate high temperatures.
Mains electricity:
The cables of the electrical network of your residence must be made of copper
and have minimum sections of 2.5 mm
Care with frozen foods due to power interruption:
In case of a power failure (or a product failure) it is recommended that the freezer
and refrigerator doors keep closed or, don't be opened as often, to avoid food
damage.
