Temperature sensor

You can configure the camera to send notifications if the camera's ambient temperature is too cold or too
hot.

From the [HomeHawk] app home screen, tap

Tap [Camera Settings] and select the desired camera.

Tap [Detection] ® [Temperature Alert Range].

Select the desired temperature for the lower threshold of the acceptable temperature range.

Select the desired temperature for the upper threshold of the acceptable temperature range, and
then tap [OK].

Temperature units

You can change the units displayed for the temperature.

From the [HomeHawk] app home screen, tap

Tap [Camera Settings] and select the desired camera.

Tap [System] ® [Temperature Units].

Select whether the temperature is displayed and specified in Fahrenheit or Celsius, and then tap
[OK].

Sound sensitivity

You can configure the sound sensitivity used for sound detection.

From the [HomeHawk] app home screen, tap

Tap [Camera Settings] and select the desired camera.

Tap [Detection] ® [Sound Sensitivity].

Select the desired setting, and then tap [OK].
– [High]: The microphone is very sensitive to sound, i.e., even a small sound will trigger the
notification.
– [Normal]: The microphone is moderately sensitive to sound.
– [Low]: The microphone is only slightly sensitive to sound, i.e., a large sound is required to trigger
the notification.

Camera SD cards

SD card capacity and total recording time
The following recording times apply when images from one camera are recorded. All times are
approximate.
– 4 GB card: 4 hours
– 8 GB card: 9 hours
– 16 GB card: 18 hours
