9-2-19 EEV or VALVE CLOSE error (C422)

1. failure cause
1) Check for leakage using leakage detection liquid or soapy water.
the refrigerant and operation.
3) If the leakage part is a PIPE welding part, rewelding is performed after release of refrigerant gas to block the
leakage part.
4) If the leakage part is found on the surface other than the heat exchanger or PIPE welding part, replace the
part
5) PBA Check
- Check if an error has occurred in the indoor Dipslay.
- Check if the input voltage of the indoor PBA is normal and replace the PBA if there is any abnormality.
2. Troubleshooting procedure
Is the stop valve of the low pressure
side service valve fully open?
YES
Remove the power cord from the outlet, plug it back
in 3 seconds, and start cooling operation at the lowest
temperature possible with the remote control.

Is the cold air coming out of the indoor unit while
driving the compressor?
YES

Use a 4mm hexagonal wrench to fully
open the stop valve
Connect the manifold gauge to the service
port of the low-pressure side service valve
