Changing the Menu Settings
BASIC SETTINGS
(
AUTO POWER OFF
If the camcorder is not operated for
5 minutes while the power is on,
it turns itself off automatically to
conserve power.

DISPLAY ON TV
Displays the camcorder's on-screen
display on TV.
Z
FACTORY PRESET
Returns all the camcorder settings
to their default values.

CLOCK ADJUST
Enables you to set the time.

- VIDEO NO. RESET

IMAGE NO. RESET
By resetting the file number
(name), a new folder will be made.
The new files will be stored in the
new folder.
It is convenient to separate the new
files from previously recorded files.

FORMAT SD CARD
You have to format newly
purchased SD cards with this
camcorder before using them. This
will also ensure stable speed and
operation when accessing the SD
card.

Settings: [ ] = Factory-preset
Select [BASIC SETTINGS], then select sub-menus.
OFF: Disables the function.
[ON]: Activates the function.
To turn the camcorder on again, close the LCD
monitor and open it again when using the battery
pack. When using the AC adapter, perform any
operation such as zooming.
[OFF]: Does not display on TV.
ON: Displays on TV.
NOTE
This setting is available only if the TV is connected with the
AV/S-Video cables.
YES: Performs the function.
NO: Cancels the function.
DATE / TIME
YES: Performs reset.
NO: Cancels reset.
NOTE
Even if you select [YES], you can cancel the process by
selecting [STOP].
[FILE]: Initializes all files in the SD card.
FILE + MANAGEMENT NO: Initializes all files and
management numbers in the SD card.
