11.2 - A TT ACHING A8 TO B18
Once the VT has been disconnected from the flown array of B18s, the next step is to attach the first cluster of A8 cabinets to the flown
B18s. Note that the first VTX A8 connected to a B18 subwoofer is always pinned to the 4° position. This allows the topmost A8 cabinet
to be parallel with the Array Frame.
STEPS:
• Follow the procedures outlined in section 9 of this manual to assemble the A8 clusters.

• Preset the angles of the A8 cabinets and then lift each cabinet using the rear panel handle until the cabinet extends to its final

position.
• Use your hands to pull up the top rigging arms until fully engaged. The stack connected to the array frame does not need to

be manually extended since the electric hoist will lock the cabinets once suspended.
