Connecting the Adapter
Connecting the MoCA Adapter is a relatively simple process that involves
connecting the Adapter to your broadband modem/router via Ethernet,
and then to the coaxial network. The Adapter takes the Internet signal
from the coaxial network and extends your network. Additional Adapters
can be installed throughout your home or office wherever you need
Ethernet Internet access, and there is an available coaxial port.
Connecting the First Adapter
The first MoCA Adapter must be connected to the broadband modem/
router, and then to the coaxial network. This Adapter takes the Internet
signal from the modem/router and delivers to the coaxial network.
To connect the first Adapter:
1. Connect a coaxial cable into a coaxial wall port near the modem/
router.
2. Connect the other end of the coaxial cable installed in step 1 to the
Coax In port on the side of the Adapter.
3. Connect one end of an Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port of the
modem/router.
4. Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into the Ethernet port on
the side of the Adapter.
