2-3. Front Panel Setting

1. POWER (ON/OFF)
Turn on the power switch before connecting the camera
and monitor TV to the CAMERA IN and VIDEO OUT
connectors on the rear panel.

The unit does not start up when the cables are connected
after the power switch is turned on.
2. SYNC SYSTEM 1 to 4 (VS/VD)
Select the switch according to the sync signal system of the
camera to be connected to each connector.
When the setting is incorrect, the unit does not synchronize
the camera.
3. CABLE COMP 1 to 4
When connecting the unit to the camera, select the switch
according to the type and length of the coaxial cable to be
used in order to compensate for the attenuation of signals.
Refer to the table below for the cables.

4. SYNC MODE (PRIMARY/SECONDARY)
Select the mode according to the source of signal as the
sync signal source of the camera to be connected.
PRIMARY:
When a sync signal source from the YS-
W270 is used.
SECONDARY: When an outside sync signal source is
used with one or more YS-W170/W270
connected.
When an inner sync signal of the camera
is used.

2-4. Rear Panel Switch Setting

1. 75 Z Z Z Z Z (ON/OFF)
Set the switch to ON when the SYNC IN terminal is
terminated at 75 Z.

For the following cases, refer to the operation manual
"Connection" in Section 1.
. When more than one unit is connected.
. When the SYNC IN terminal is not used.

Remove the five screws, then remove the upper case
assembly.
