Thermostat block
The thermostat block is protected by the protective lid — even in the
event of a cuvette or reaction tube smashing.
Any vapors and chemicals that may be released are contained in the
thermostat block. They cannot penetrate inside the thermostat, so no
subsequent technical defects can occur as a consequence of such
releases.
N O T I C E
Damaged cuvettes and reaction tubes should not be used again (danger of glass
breakage!).
Do not disconnect the power plug!
Organic solvents must not be heated in the instrument!
Only original HACH cuvettes and reaction tubes may be used!
Risk of injury. The locking pin on the housing lid has sharp edges
Thanks to the electrical locking feature, the thermostat offers the highest
possible level of safety for the user. This locking feature for the digestion
chamber closes automatically once the digestion process starts and only
unlocks the lid once the digestion process is complete and the
appropriate cooling-down phase has elapsed (exception: standard COD
program). It is therefore impossible to open the thermostat during the
digestion process.
