Change the fuse in the cold instrument socket
D A N G E R
Some circuits in this device are protected by fuses against overvoltages. For
constant protection against risk of fire, replace these fuses only with fuses of the
same type and power rating.
Defective fuses generally indicate a problem in the device. If fuse errors
repeatedly occur, contact the service department for instructions on the return
procedure for repair purposes. Under no circumstances attempt to repair the
device independently.

Use only the supplied power cable.
Only qualified experts may perform the tasks described in this section of the
manual, while adhering to all locally valid safety regulations.
1.
Turn the instrument off and disconnect the power cord.
2.
Wait until the temperature of the thermostat block and the sample
cuvettes has dropped.
3.
Remove the fuse holder by pressing the catch in the direction of the
arrow.
4.
Remove the faulty fuse (T6, 3A) (see

Insert the accompanying spare fuse from the chamber.
6.
Re-insert the fuse holder (clicks audibly into place)
N O T I C E
If the replacement fuse also blows after it has been inserted and the instrument
has been switched on, contact our Technical Customer Service.
