Chapter 1 Introduction

This chapter provides an overview of the Scan Kiosk II V2.0 solution, the parts and functions
of the product, how to enter characters on the pop-up virtual keyboard, and an overview of
the User settings.

Overview

Scan Kiosk II V2.0 consists of a desktop Windows tablet PC and stand, support for a
specific series of DR scanners, and optional USB keyboard.
Scan Kiosk II V2.0 provides a Web-based scanning framework and scanning Web
service that enables users of an imageFORMULA DR-G-Series scanner to scan to a
shared folder, e-mail account (if configured), and USB memory.
