XFce Panel Bar

By default, the panel bar appears at the bottom of the screen and
includes the following features:
Go button: brings up the Go menu
active task buttons: for programs that are currently running
lock icon: locks the screen
audio icon: adjusts volume
clock: adjusts time and date
By default, the panel bar is automatically displayed. However, the
panel bar can be configured so that it is hidden by opening the XFce
Panel dialog box under Settings and selecting the Auto hide check
box. If the Auto hide check box is selected, you must move the
pointer to the bottom of the screen to bring up the XFce panel bar.

Icons

The Linux-based thin client image does not support desktop icons.
Programs must be accessed through the XFce Panel Bar.

Taskbar

The taskbar contains four separate workspace icons. When one of
these icons is clicked, the workspace (or session) will open. Each
workspace can have different programs running. By default, the
taskbar is automatically displayed at the top of the screen. However,
the taskbar can be configured so that it is hidden by opening the
Taskbar dialog box under Settings and selecting the Auto hide check
box. If the Auto hide check box is selected, you must move the
pointer to the top of the screen to bring up the taskbar.
