Turning off the Red-Eye Reduction Function
The red-eye reduction lamp lights in order to reduce the red-eye effect that
occurs when shooting in dark conditions with the flash. You can turn off this
function.

You can change the length of time the images display directly after shooting.

You can change the way the image displays after shooting.
Choose [Flash Settings], then press the m
button.
Press the op buttons or turn the Ê dial to
choose [Red-Eye Lamp], then press the qr
buttons to choose [Off].
Choose [Review], then press the qr buttons
to choose an option.
2 – 10 sec.
Displays images for the set time.
The image displays until you press the
Hold
shutter button halfway.
Off
No image displays
Choose [Review Info], then press the qr
buttons to choose an option.
Off
Displays the image only.
Detailed
Displays detailed information (p. 45).
The area inside the AF frame is
magnified, allowing you to check the
Focus Check
focus. The procedure is the same as in
"Checking the Focus" (p. 122).
