If normal safety precautions are overlooked or ignored, seri- ous personal injury may occur. H3118 Tile Saw 9. BLADE SELECTION. Match the correct diamond blade to the material being cut. 10. BLADE MOUNTING. Before mounting the blade, inspect the arbor, arbor nut, and flang- es for damage, wear, or looseness.

Otherwise, filing a freight claim can be difficult. When you are completely satisfied with the condi- tion of your shipment, inventory the contents. H3118 Tile Saw Inventory The following is a description of the main compo- nents shipped with your machine. Lay the compo- nents out to inventory them.

Refer to the Machine Data Sheet for the weight and footprint specifications of your machine. The H3118 is a small weight load with a small foot- print. Most workbenches should be sufficient to carry the weight of the machine. Reinforce the workbench if you question its ability to support the weight.

Assembly The Model H3118 comes pre-assembled from the factory except for the blade guard and the four rubber feet that need to be inserted into the base, as shown in Figure 4. Dip the rubber feet into soapy water to ease the installation.

This safety feature must work properly before proceeding with regular operations. Call Tech Support for help. H3118 Tile Saw Lubrication Water is used to cool and lubricate the saw blade when cutting tile. Water also reduces the amount of tile dust produced.
