Operation

1. Disconnect and lock out power.
Do not connect the phase sequence leads to
more than 700 VAC. Electric shock can result.
2. Connect the leads to the 3-phase circuit. Apply
power.
3. All three Phase Indicator LED's should illuminate.
Note: If all three of the Phase Indicator LED's do
not illuminate, shut off and lock out the
power. Have the wiring corrected by a
qualified electrician.
Note: One of the Phase Sequence LED's should be
lit. If the CORRECT LED is lit, the phases
have been correctly identified. If the
INCORRECT LED is lit, disconnect and lock
out power. Switch any two leads, apply
power and retest.
4. Disconnect power to the circuit. Disconnect the test
instrument from the circuit. Apply power to the
circuit.

Maintenance

Keep the test instrument clean and dry. Replace
leads that are worn or damaged.
Do not attempt to repair this test instrument.
It contains no user-serviceable parts.
