Problem
The tachometer on the display is
sporadic/inconsistent.
The engine does not reach maximum rpm
while driving.
Machine Fault Codes
Problem
A fault code appears on the display.
Possible Cause
1. The engine belt is loose and/or
damaged.
2. There is a bad electrical connection to
the alternator.
3. The alternator is bad.
1. The cable is stretched and/or the
assembly in the system has settled.
Possible Cause
1. There is an issue with the machine.

Corrective Action
1. Check the belt; replace, if needed.
2. Check the harness connection.
3. Contact your authorized Toro
distributor.
1. Perform the throttle calibration
procedure.
Corrective Action
1. Do not operate the machine if a fault
code appears; otherwise, serious
damage could occur. Contact your
authorized Toro distributor.
