- Always put the vegetables in first, followed by the other ingredients (rice,
meat).
• Then add the water, ensuring that you respect the MIN and MAX levels marked on
the jug (fig 3) for settings SMOOTH SOUP and CRUNCHY SOUP.
• Stir the liquid and ingredients together manually (fig 4).
• Place the motor unit back on the top of the jug, ensuring that the two connection
points (parts D and E) fit together properly (fig 5).
• Plug one end of the power cord into the side handle and connect the other end
to the mains socket (fig 6).
• All the settings on the control panel will flash.

USING THE SETTINGS

• Choose your preferred program by pressing the corresponding button (fig 7). Only
the chosen program will flash.
• Press the OFF/STOP button to start the program. The appliance will beep for one
minute and the indicator for the selected program will remain illuminated until the
end of the program (fig 8).
• Once the program has finished, the appliance will beep again during 1 minute.
Note: you may stop the programme at any moment by pressing the OFF/STOP button
for a few seconds. The appliance will beep and the program indicators will
begin to flash again.
• Unplug the cord from the mains socket, and then remove the jug.
• Hold the side handle of the jug with one hand and remove the motor unit by
pulling up the top handle with the other hand (fig 1).
• You may now pour the soup or smoothie into a bowl.
Tip: If you would like an even smoother soup, you may use the BLEND manual
mode (P4) to process your preparation.
To familiarise yourself with the appliance, we suggest you try out one of the recipes
provided in this instruction guide.

CLEANING YOUR APPLIANCE

• Before first use, wash the inside of the jug with a damp sponge and a washing up
liquid, then rinse (fig 9).
• Do not immerse the appliance in water. Do not place the motor unit (B) or the
jug (I) under running water.
• If necessary, once the appliance has cooled down, wash the blade under the tap
(fig 10) and finish by cleaning the inside of the jug and the motor unit with a
damp sponge.
• If there are still stains on the inside of the jug, fill it with hot water and washing
up liquid and leave to soak for a few hours, then remove the residue with a plastic
scourer. Rinse the inside of the jug.
