USER GUIDE
NOTE: All information in this User Guide applies equally to "standard" and "WR" versions
unless specifically stated to the contrary. Similarly, the "TX-WR" versions of the CDD5 and
CDD6 may be assumed to be identical to the standard versions unless stated otherwise.
CDD RANGE ACCESSORIES
Mounting accessories
Several mounting options are available for the various models in the CDD range. These may be
summarised as follows:
•
Wall mounting – brackets are available for all models up to the CDD12.
•
Ceiling mounting – brackets are available for Models CDD5, CDD6 and CDD8.
•
Yoke assemblies – suitable for either wall or ceiling mounting - are available for Models
CDD10, CDD12 and CDD15.
•
All models may be flown using standard rigging procedures; eye bolts are available for
all models. Note that CSX subwoofers may also be flown (see "CSX Series subwoofers -
installation" on page 40).
Brackets and yoke assemblies are available in black or white to match the standard enclosure
finishes.
NOTE: A venue with Martin Audio AQ Series speakers already installed may be easily upgraded
to CDD Series speakers in many cases, as some of the existing AQ Series wall and ceiling
mounting brackets may be retainable and re-usable; the mounting holes in the enclosure fixing
plates are compatible with the CDD series. (Note that this does not apply to all models.)
