6.11 How do I uninstall an application?

Method 1
Step 1 On the home screen, touch and hold an application until a trash can icon is displayed at the
top of the screen.
Step 2 Drag the application to the trash can icon to uninstall it.

Step 3 On the home screen, touch Settings > All > Manage apps, and choose an application.
Step 4 Touch Uninstall.

Touch Settings > All > Display > Brightness to set the brightness to a small value.
Touch Settings > All and turn off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. You can also turn off Wi-Fi and
Bluetooth from the notification panel.
Drag the status bar down to display the notification panel. Turn off data synchronization.
Touch Settings > All > Mobile networks and clear Data enabled to disable the data
service. You can also turn off the data service from the notification panel.
Touch Settings > All > Location services and clear GPS satellites to disable the GPS
function. You can also turn off the GPS function from the notification panel.
Disable the data service when you are not using it.
When Wi-Fi is available, connect your phone to a Wi-Fi network and disable the data
service.
Access Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) sites instead of World Wide Web
(WWW) websites.
Drag the status bar down to display the notification panel. Turn off data synchronization.
Close some running third-party applications.
Uninstall some applications.
Restart your phone.
Restore your phone to its factory settings.
