To add an application to the Home screen, from the application list, touch and hold the
application. To add a widget to the Home screen, from the application list, open the
Widget tab, and touch and hold the widget.
To move an item on the Home screen, touch and hold the item, and drag it to the desired
area.
To remove an item from the Home screen, touch and hold the item, and drag it to the
trash can on the screen.
To customize your theme, touch
To set your wallpaper, touch
Gallery. You can also touch and hold a blank area on the screen to display the Choose
wallpaper from menu.
Press to lock the screen when you are not using your phone.
Touch > Settings > Display > Sleep to set Screen timeout to a small value.
Touch > Settings > Display > Brightness to set Brightness to a small value.
Touch > Settings > Wireless & networks, and clear Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to turn
off Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
Touch > Settings > Accounts & sync, and clear Background data and Auto-sync
to disable background data synchronization.
Touch > Settings > More... > Mobile networks and clear Data enabled to disable
data services, or set Data Switch to Off in the notification bar.
Touch > Settings > Location & security, and clear Use GPS satellites to disable
GPS functions.
Touch > Settings > Wireless & networks > Mobile networks, and select Use only
2G networks to use only 2G networks.
Disable data services if you are not using them.
Disable data services if your phone is connected to a Wi-Fi network.
Access Wireless Access Protocol (WAP) websites instead of World Wide Web (WWW)
websites.
Touch > Settings > More...> Mobile networks, and clear Data enabled to disable
data services.
