To toggle Priority Modes Hold on any channel and press Func then .no(pri). Press
Hold to resume.
To toggle Weather Alert Priority on or off Hold on any channel and press Func then
0(wx). Press Hold to resume.
To toggle Close Call Modes Hold on any channel and press Func then Hold/
.
Press Hold to resume.
To view a Close Call hit (CC Override On) press any key to view the frequency (even
if it's gone).
To view and listen to a Close Call hit (CC Override Off) press Func to listen to and
view the frequency (only if it's still there).
To go to a channel number tag in the current system/site Hold on the system. Enter
the channel number tag and press Menu. See also Using Number Tags.
To go to a channel number tag in a different system Hold on any channel. Enter the
system number tag, press .no, the channel number tag, then Menu.
To go to on a system/search number tag Hold on any channel. Enter the system/
search number tag, press .no, then Menu.
To unlock a conventional channel see Locking/Unlocking Channels.
To unlock and/or review locked out IDs see Reviewing Locked out IDs.
To unlock all IDs see Clear All L/O IDs.
To unlock a conventional system/trunked site/search press and hold Func to 'lock'
function mode then scroll to the system/site/search and press L/O to unlock and
search/scan.
Press Func twice to 'unlock' Function mode and resume. See also Locking/Unlocking

To unlock search frequencies press Func then L/O while searching. Scroll to the
frequency and press E/yes to unlock.
To start Close Call Only Hold on any channel. Press Func then press and hold Hold/
. Press Scan/Srch to exit.
To start Weather Scan Hold on any channel. Press Func then press and hold 0(wx).
Press Scan/Srch to exit.
To start Tone-Out Standby/Search assign it to a Search Key.
To view GPS Display Mode Hold on any channel. Press Func then E/yes(gps).
Press Scan/Srch to exit.
To view P25 Display Mode press Vol then Func then Vol. Press Vol to exit.
To view Band Scope Mode Hold on any channel and press Func then 3(sr 3). (set to
Search Key 3 by default).
