Restoring the handset
default settings
You can reset any individual settings
and changes that you have made.
This will not affect entries in the
directory, calls list, date and time or
the handset's registration to the
base.

The base settings are made via regis-
tered handset.

Repeater support

You can increase the range and sig-
nal strength of the base using a
repeater. You will need to activate
repeater mode. This will terminate
any calls that are in progress at the
time.

port cancel each other out, i.e.,
if you use a repeater, you can-
not use Eco Mode or Eco

u The default encrypted trans-
mission setting is deactivated
when repeater mode is acti-
vated.
Protecting against
unauthorised access
Protect the system settings of the
base with a system PIN known only
to you. You will need to enter the
system PIN when, for example, regis-
tering/de-registering a handset to/
from the base.
Changing the system PIN
You can change the base's 4-digit
default system PIN ("0000") to a 4-
digit PIN known only to yourself.
