Repeat steps 2 and 3 to enter the entire password.
Press the [

] or [#] button to delete all numbers.

Press the [ ] or [ ] button to confirm the entry.
If you enter an incorrect password, an error tone sounds and the transceiver remains
locked.
The password can contain a maximum of 6 digits.

ADJUSTING THE VOLUME

Portable
Rotate the Power switch/ Volume control to adjust the volume.
Rotate clockwise to increase the volume and counterclockwise to decrease the
volume.
Mobile
Press the button programmed as [Volume Up] to increase the volume. Press the
button programmed as [Volume Down] to decrease the volume.

SELECTING A ZONE AND CHANNEL

Select the desired zone using the buttons programmed as [Zone Up]/ [Zone
Down]. Each zone contains a group of channels.

Select the desired channel using the buttons programmed as [Channel Up]/
[Channel Down]. Each channel is programmed with settings for transmitting and
receiving.
The transceiver may have names programmed for zones and channels. The zone
name and channel name can contain up to 12 and 14 characters respectively for
Portable transceivers, and up to 14 characters each for Mobile transceivers.
