Settings

Accessibility

Accessibility services are special features for those with certain physical disabilities. Access
and alter the following settings to improve accessibility to the device.
• A uto-rotate screen: Set the interface to rotate automatically when you rotate the device.
• S peak passwords: Set the device to read aloud passwords you enter with Talkback.
• A ccessibility shortcut: Add a shortcut to Accessibility settings on the quick menu that
appears when you press and hold the Power button.
• S creen timeout: Set the length of time the device waits before turning off the display's
backlight.
• A ccessibility: Activate a downloaded accessibility application, such as Talkback or
Kickback, which provide voice, melody, or vibration feedback.
• T alkBack: Activate Talkback, which provides voice feedback.
• F ont size: Change the font size in S Planner, Email, and Contacts.
• N egative colours: Reverse the display colours to improve visibility.
• I nstall web scripts: Set applications to install web scripts to make their web content
more accessible.
• M ono audio: Enable mono sound when listening to audio with one earbud.
• T urn off all sounds: Mute all device sounds.
• T ap and hold delay: Set the recognition time for tapping and holding the screen.

Motion

Change the settings that control motion recognition on your device.
• T ilt to zoom: Set to zoom in or out while viewing images in Gallery or browsing
webpages, when you tap and hold two points with your fingers and then tilt the device
back and forth.
• P an to move icon: Set to move an item to another page when tapping and holding the
item and then panning the device to the left or right.
• P an to browse images: Set to scroll through an image by sliding the device in any
direction when the image is zoomed in.
